The NordicTrack 1750 gives you the powerful motor, larger running surface and durability of a commercial grade treadmill along with a more advanced console,and tons of motivational and entertainment features that you get with their iFit technology.

The NordicTrack 1750 is the most economical model in their Commercial Series, yet it includes many of the same features, that you get with the more expensive models.

You also get a more realistic and more intense workout with the -3% to +15% decline and incline feature. The decline feature give you a more realistic walk or run in addition to working different muscles while the extra incline gives you a more realistic and intense workout in less time.

They may have enough space for a long row of treadmills at the gym but if you barely have the extra space for just one, you will be happy to know that the NT 1750 has a Foldable, SpaceSaver® Design too.

While you can get many of the same high-end, commercial-like features on other, fairly expensive models, NordicTrack has done a nice job in combining high-end, quality features with the iFit motivational and entertainment features. You can, of course, always use the Built-in Fitness programs anytime without using the iFit options but you always have the option to use them when you need some extra motivation.

Getting the Best Price on the NordicTrack 1750

NordicTrack brand were previously sold only online, directly through NordicTrack, and at Sears stores. They are now available at Amazon too so you have more options for NorticTrack Treadmills sales and customer reviews than in the past.

As for brick & morter stores, it is nice to be able to see and try out NordicTrack treadmills at a Sears store but many of the models that are sold at Sears have different model numbers than the models sold online and some models are only available either at NordicTrack online or at Sears.

Unfortunately, the Sears store by us did not carry the NT Commercial Series Treadmills (I am not sure if this is the case with all Sears stores). Your best option for getting a good price on the NT1750 may just be to get it while NordicTrack is having one of their sales online. Fortunately, NordicTrack schedules good sales online fairly often.

Key Features of the NT 1750 and The Advantages They Give You

Full Color, Touch Screen Display -The 10 inch, full color HD screen has a much nicer display than the screens on most other treadmills. Plus you get iFit technology on top of great displays of your workout stats.

+15% to -3% Incline and Decline - Get a more intense workout in less time and reduce the impact of your workout with a steeper incline. Most treadmills in this price range will include an max incline of 10%-12%. The decline feature gives you more variety, a more realistic walk or run and uses different muscles.

Foldable, Space Saving Design - When you need the extra space, the NT 1750 can be folded and be moved out of the way yet the heavy duty surface and design are solid and stable when in use.

iFit Enabled Console - The primary motivational and/or entertainment feature of the NT1750 is actually the iFit Enabled Console to go along with the Google Android touch-screen mentioned above. * You will need a Wi-Fi internet signal and an iFit membership for full access to iFit Live features.

Briefly, iFIt Live wirelessly connects your treadmill console to the internet to give you access to a large library of workout programs and popular routes, from around the world, that you can walk, jog or run.

You can then follow your progress on the screen, via Google Maps, in Map, Satellite or Street View and the incline of the treadmill is adjusted to match the actual terrain of your route. You can also create and download your own custom routes (like a favorite local walk or run) to track.

Going the other way (uploading data to the internet that is) you can upload your workout data to your iFit account to analyze, track and/or share with family or friends.

Installed Workout Programs - For a little lower-tech variety and motivation you get built-in workout programs (or workout apps as they are sometimes called) which is really just the start since you also have the iFit Enabled console.

Treadmill eReview

You can't really get the same kind of in-home motivational features on the commercial treadmills at the gym and it can be difficult to get the quality and durability of a commercial treadmill with an in-home model.

Fortunately, the NordicTrack 1750 gives you the best of both worlds. On the commercial side, we like the powerful motor, larger running surface and durability of the 1750 and we like the more advanced console, nicer full color display and all of the motivational and entertainment features that you get on the in-home side of things.

The nice mix of in-home features and commercial features, along with the other high-end specs and the excellent warranty makes the the NordicTrack 1750 an Excellent Buy.

It can be hard to find customer reviews on specific NordicTrack models since most of the customer reviews are either on the NordicTrack site or Sears and the model numbers ar Sears are not always the same as the models that you find online.
